About

“Circumstances do not and should not determine who you are nor who you can become.”  - Pam Gary

My work is an extension of who I am and what I feel and love.  The differences in design and style come completely from my daily inspirations of different people, places and things as well as the silver artisans of long ago that created beautiful works completely by hand, way before the technology and materials of today were available to them.

Always a lover of Art and Nature, namely the Ocean, it has always been a desire to create from the things that are most soothing to the soul … MY soul.  The Sand, the Sky and the Surf with each passing tide are completely different and carry individual messages to everyone who witnesses them.  Each piece comes from the heart and is meant to “speak” to the buyer.

Driven by the freedom of design that metal artistry would provide, as well as the versatility it would add to my existing Pearl and Leather jewelry designs, I began studying Metal Artistry about 4 years ago through the Lafayette Art Association.  Beginning with Fine Silver, Sterling and Bronze Metal Clay, most recently moving to Silver Sheet, Fine Turquoise and Gemstones.  The two collaborated create unique one-of-a-kind pieces that allow the owner to wear in many different ways.
